Privacy Policy

Overtake ("Overtake", "we", "us") is the marketing arm of Benefitra. This policy explains what information we collect through overtake.marketing and our booking system at book.overtake.marketing, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of our websites, people who book meetings with us, and clients we do marketing work for.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details you submit through a form, a booking, or an email: name, email address, phone number, company name, and website.
- What you write in a message, a booking note, or a scorecard or calculator request.
- Information you share with us during an engagement so we can do the work, such as access to your analytics, search console, ad accounts, or website.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server and analytics data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar storage used to keep the site working, remember your light or dark theme preference, and measure traffic in aggregate.
Information from a calendar you connect
If you connect a Google account to our booking system, we receive only what that connection requires: your Google account email address and basic profile, and the busy and free times plus event details on the calendars you choose, so the booking page can show accurate availability and write the meeting we schedule together.
How Overtake uses Google user data
Overtake's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Concretely, that means:
- We use Google Calendar data only to check availability and to create, update or cancel the meetings you book with us.
- We do not sell Google user data, and we do not transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide the booking feature, or where required by law.
- We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit permission, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data is aggregated and anonymised.
- Access tokens are stored on our own servers and are used only for the connection you authorised.
You can disconnect a calendar at any time from your account settings in the booking system, or revoke our access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Once you disconnect, we stop syncing and delete the stored connection.
Why we use your information
- To reply to you, schedule meetings, and deliver the services you asked for.
- To prepare proposals, scorecards, reports and other deliverables.
- To operate, secure and improve our websites.
- To send service messages about work in progress, and marketing email only where you asked for it or where we have a client relationship. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, such as hosting, email delivery, scheduling, analytics and payment processing, and only to the extent they need it to perform that service for us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the safety of others. If the business is ever transferred, information may transfer with it, and this policy will continue to apply to information collected before that transfer.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as we have an active relationship with you and afterwards for as long as we need them for legal, accounting or dispute purposes. Calendar connection data is kept only while the connection is active. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
Security
Our sites are served over HTTPS, credentials and tokens are stored on servers we control with restricted access, and access is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect what you give us.
Your choices and rights
- Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it or delete it.
- Withdraw consent, unsubscribe from marketing email, or disconnect a calendar, at any time.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, where the law gives you that right.
Email us and we will action the request. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and our servers are located there. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site.
